SUSPENSION OF MASONIC ACTIVITIES
Following guidance from UGLE, the Pro Provincial Grand Master RW Peter Baker has confirmed the temporary suspension of Craft and Royal Arch and associated Masonic activities until further notice. The leaders of other masonic orders have made similar announcements.
Prior to these most recent events having overtaken us all, the Board of Directors had made the necessary preparations to re-open Cole Court on Monday 19th October. However, sadly the suspension of masonic activities means that Cole Court will now continue to remain closed for the time being.
In his message the Pro Provincial Grand Master urged units to continue to voluntarily pay the per capita Temple rental fees for meetings that you would have held during this discretionary suspension period. Whilst the Board has been carefully managing the fixed costs during this difficult time, it remains essential that per capita income is maintained in order to mitigate some of this overhead and to maximise the viability of the business and ability to sustain activities at Cole Court in the future.
The Board is indeed grateful for the support it has received, and continues to receive.
